Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Dock and Door Technician to service and repair our dock and door equipment and related systems. This role emphasizes strong customer communication and professional representation of the company in daily fieldwork.

Based in the field with daily travel, you will maintain tools, perform repairs, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure on-time completion of jobs. Local travel within assigned territories is required and safety regulations must be followed.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent Organizational Time Management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of Dock and Door equipment that RW sells and services.
• Repair all types of equipment that Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Service leadership.
• Complete all paperwork transactions in a timely, neat, accurate and orderly fashion.
