Job summary

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Field Dock & Door Service Technician with installation experience, mechanical knowledge, and Dock & Door industry background to join our service team.

You will install, diagnose, and repair warehouse docks and doors, perform new installations, and communicate downtime and progress to the customer while coordinating with the Warehouse Products team to provide quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience installing and repairing loading dock equipment, commercial doors, and high-speed doors preferred.
• Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record
• Above-average communication skills
• Ability to complete DOT medical certification if assigned DOT-rated vehicle
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Possessing or having the ability to obtain a complete line of tools

Responsibilities

• Repair warehouse docks and rollup doors to bring customer facilities back to safety standards
• Perform new installation on dock and door projects
• Communicate downtime and progress with customer and Warehouse Products team
• Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision
