Job summary

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Field Dock & Door Service Technician to install, diagnose, and repair warehouse docks and doors at customer sites. The role supports the Warehouse Products Service Team, ensuring safety and uptime across facilities.

Qualified candidates have dock/door installation experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in varied environments, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience installing and repairing loading dock equipment and doors.
• Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
• Above-average communication skills.
• Ability to complete DOT medical certification if assigned a DOT-rated vehicle.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Possessing or having the ability to obtain a complete line of tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair warehouses docks and rollup doors to restore safe operation per safety protocols.
• Perform new installation on dock and door projects.
• Effectively communicate downtime and job progress to customers and team.
• Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision.
