Job summary

Titan Machinery in Highmore, SD is hiring a Case IH Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and perform pre-delivery and warranty service on customer equipment in shop or field. You will diagnose systems, communicate findings, manage parts, and complete service documentation with safety and precision.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience or an Associate's Degree in Diesel Technology, own tools, ability to travel up to 75%, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program
• 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision
• Clean driving record
• Must have own tools
• Must have or have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and perform 50% or more work offsite/in the field
• Ability to work flexible/on-call hours
• Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: diagnose, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components; provide field service as directed
• Documentation and Communication: communicate findings and repair needs clearly; manage parts and paperwork; complete work orders accurately
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: participate in training; recommend maintenance or upgrades to add value for customers
• Safety and Compliance: follow safety rules and regulations while performing work
