Job summary

Titan Machinery is seeking a Case IH Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel equipment in shop or field settings. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and pre-delivery work with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Travel up to 75% and occasional after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program
• 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision
• Clean driving record
• Must have own tools
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and perform 50%+ work offsite/in the field
• Ability to work flexible/on-call hours
• Keen attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work independently
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems per manufacturer specs and field service as directed by Service Manager
• Communicate findings, repair needs, and timelines; manage parts and supplies and complete work orders accurately
• Participate in ongoing professional/technical training; recommend maintenance or upgrades to improve performance
• Follow safety rules and regulations in all tasks
• Potential weekend and after-hours service calls as needed
