Job summary

Titan Machinery is seeking a Case IH Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and perform pre-delivery work on diesel equipment in shop or field settings. You will complete service orders, communicate findings, and coordinate parts and timelines with customers and the service team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or a related program.
• 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision
• Clean driving record
• Must have own tools
• Must have or obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and 50%+ work offsite/in the field
• Ability to work flexible/on call hours
• Keen attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work independently
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems per manufacturer specs.
• Provide professional field service as directed by the Service Manager, including weekend/after-hours calls.
• Document findings, repair needs, and timelines with owners and service team; manage parts and supplies.
• Follow safety rules and regulatory requirements while performing work.
