Job summary

Titan Machinery is hiring a Case IH Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel equipment in shop or field settings. You will perform pre-delivery work, handle warranty repairs, and ensure high-quality service while complying with safety standards.

The role emphasizes field service, weekend/after-hours potential, and a strong focus on documentation and customer communication. A DOT medical certification and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related diesel equipment experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program.
• 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision
• Clean driving record
• Must have own tools
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and 50%+ work offsite/in the field
• Ability to work flexible/on-call hours
• Keen attention to detail, high initiative, and ability to work independently
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: diagnose, repair, and recondition machine systems per manufacturer specs; provide field service as directed; potential weekend/after-hours calls
• Documentation and Communication: clearly communicate findings and repair timelines with owners, operators, and service team; manage parts and supplies; complete work orders and service documentation accurately
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: participate in ongoing training to maintain knowledge; recommend maintenance or upgrades to add value and improve performance
• Safety and Compliance: follow safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work
