Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks at customer sites in California. This field-based role offers independence, a competitive wage, and opportunities to use advanced diagnostic tools while maintaining fleets on the road.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, respond to dispatch requests, and road-test vehicles to ensure top-quality standards. Join a team that values safety and reliability.

Competenze

At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks.
DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs.

Mansioni

Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks in field environment.
Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
Use handheld computers and precision instruments to identify and fix issues quickly.
Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet top-quality standards.
