Job summary

Hunter Engineering Company in Missouri is seeking a Field Diagnostic Technician to support field personnel with phone triage, diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic systems on-site at our Hunter Service Center location.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year technical degree or equivalent, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and strong computer skills for diagnostics. Occasional travel to Bridgeton HQ may be required; you will work closely with our field team to keep systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of applicable experience in a related field.
• Strong computer skills for diagnostics of alignment and inspection systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose service issues for field personnel and guide repairs via phone/step-by-step walkthrough.
• Build positive relationships with field personnel.
• Report issues found on repaired systems for quality and documentation.
• Collect and categorize data to inform product and service improvements.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot and repair Hunter electronic/electromechanical components and systems.
• Additional duties as assigned.
