Job summary

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Development Superintendent to lead on-site land development from pre-development through construction-ready handoff. You will coordinate site work, permits, utilities and inspections, while maintaining schedules and budgets for multiple properties.

This full-time role requires field leadership, strong collaboration with contractors and internal teams, and a focus on safety, cost control and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors/AS degree preferred in related field.
• Experience in land development, site construction, utilities or inspections.
• OSHA 10-hour or related credentials preferred; willingness to obtain required training.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-development activities, permits, and tree removal coordination.
• Oversee land development execution, contractor coordination, and site inspections.
• Verify work progress, document field conditions and support project schedules.
• Review invoices and control project costs while ensuring safety and quality.
