Job summary

Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston is seeking a site supervisor to lead residential construction tasks, oversee volunteers and staff, and ensure safety and compliance with plans. You will coordinate with the construction superintendent on procurement, subcontractors, and inspections, while maintaining site records and timelines.

The role requires reading blueprints, managing 3-week projections, and mentoring new hires, with OSHA and safety standards at the forefront of daily activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years on residential construction sites with knowledge of framing to finish.
• Ability to read blueprints and building design specifications.
• OSHA 10, NFPA 24, First Aid or equivalent certifications within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, scheduling, and oversight of staff and volunteers on site.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, and site inspections with the superintendent.
• Plan daily/weekly tasks and maintain records and site communications.
• Facilitate meetings, trainings, and ensure adherence to protocols.
