Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company in Atlanta seeks a Superintendent 2 to lead on-site field operations, ensuring safety, timeliness, and profitability on assigned projects. You will demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and client service, coordinating with Project Manager and trades.

The role requires directing day-to-day supervision, reviewing pay apps and invoices, developing site logistics, managing quality, schedule, and safety programs, and participating in project meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years of industry experience.
• Leadership on at least 3–4 projects or equivalent experience in large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor.
• Review and approve pay applications and material invoices with Project Manager.
• Develop and maintain site logistics plan in coordination with Project Manager.
• Manage quality program and coordinate site testing/inspections.
• Monitor costs, including labor time and materials.
• Lead safety programs and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Attend and lead project meetings (preconstruction, preinstallation, subcontractor, owner, safety).
• Create daily reports and quantities; assist with preconstruction/estimating.
