Job summary

OSI Digital is seeking a Field Desktop Support Tech to join our team in Duluth, GA. The role is on-site and requires strong desktop expertise, Windows OS, M365, AD, and end-user support.

You will set up equipment, image computers, perform small repairs, and apply solid networking skills to IDF/MDF, switches, routers, and access points.

Strong communication and customer service are essential as you assist users with password resets, account info, and common software issues.

Qualifications

• 2-8 years of experience in software, hardware and network.
• Experience with Windows 7/8/10 and Office 2010 through 365, M365.
• Strong customer service, detail oriented, and deadline driven.

Field Desktop Support Tech

Role: 5 days On site

Location: Duluth, Georgia

OSI Digital is looking for a Desktop support technicianto join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive and advanced desktop experience. This person will provide technical guidance and support to our business and customers, their hardware, applications, and operating systems.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, solid analytical skills, and proven problem-solving experience. He/she will use their interpersonal skills to communicate with customers and provide a solution to their technical problems quickly and professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced desktop support experience- troubleshooting, configuration, software installation
• Adept at M365, Windows, Active Directory, ticketing systems
• Provide troubleshooting and support to end users on a variety of issues- incidents and problems
• Provide technical assistance to the customer (Examples)
  - Password reset
  - Account information
  - Case number information
  - Adobe Reader issues
  - Brower issues
  - Technical computer issues
  - Internet connectivity
• Set up equipment for employee use
• Image computers using a variety of methods
• Install and perform minor repairs to computers and peripheral equipment within the office premises
• Must have strong networking skills- IDF/MDF, switches, routers, access point

Experience:

• 2-8years of experience in software, hardware and network
• Provide technical assistance for user questions/issues on Windows 7, 8 and 10 along Microsoft Office 2010 through Office 365, M365
• Experience with of Windows, M365, PC and Printer configuration
• Strong customer service skills, detail oriented, and deadline driven
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills
