Shield AI is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer, Operations & Sustainment to deploy, support, and sustain Hivemind products in real operating environments. The role requires frequent travel (50%), on-site customer engagement, training, and field support across global sites.

You will install, configure, validate, train, troubleshoot, and produce durable field artifacts, runbooks, and knowledge content while collaborating with engineering and support teams to drive issues to resolution.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, robotics, aerospace, or related field.
• 5+ years in field engineering or similar hands-on role.
• Strong software engineering or autonomy background.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Proficiency with Python or Bash for diagnostics.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy with customers on site globally with 50% travel.
• Master the Hivemind Enterprise software stack and diagnostics.
• Develop runbooks for installation, validation, licensing, and checks.
• Provide on-site technical support during deployments.
• Capture field evidence and produce knowledge-base content.
• Drive issues through the support flow and escalation process.
• Convert recurring field issues into tickets and knowledge base content.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and program teams to route issues.
