Job summary

Talent Groups in the United States is seeking an Intermediate Systems Engineer to support hardware installations, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities at customer sites.

The role will develop deployment documentation and technical specifications, resolve installation and boot-up issues, and travel frequently to support mission-critical systems. This position requires strong problem solving, customer service, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics with 5+ years of related experience.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Experience using power tools.
• Experience troubleshooting installation/boot-up issues.
• Experience with mid-to-large hardware refreshes/deployments in a government environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good time management and priority/task management skills.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Develop deployment support documentation for customers
• Develop deployment specifications and configurations with management
• Analyze and troubleshoot deployment issues in a timely manner
• Act as customer contact for deployment related inquiries and issues
• Install and test hardware at customer sites
• Create technical artifacts needed for deployments at customer sites
• Troubleshoot malfunction occurrences during hardware installations
