Job summary

Flock is seeking a field deployment professional in the United States to lead readiness and hands-on testing of our R&D hardware and software tools. You will install, test, and refine deployment workflows directly in the field, focusing on drones and robotics platforms.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Hardware Operations to develop playbooks and training materials, while traveling up to 75% to support priority deployments and field validation.

Qualifications

• Proven field engineering, robotics, or hardware deployment experience.
• Strong technical communication with engineering teams.
• Ability to travel up to 75% nationwide (4–5 days/week).
• FAA Part 107 commercial drone pilot certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness and field testing for emerging R&D products.
• Execute hands-on installations and pilot testing in the field.
• Build deployment playbooks, field docs, and training materials.
• Develop and standardize field processes during early pilot phases.
