Job summary

Flock Safety in Austin, TX is seeking a field deployment specialist to bridge R&D and field rollout. You will lead operational readiness, perform hands-on field testing of drones and robotics, and turn pilot workflows into repeatable deployment processes.

You will travel up to 75% nationwide, install and pilot test in the field, and collaborate with Product, Engineering and Hardware Operations to build deployment playbooks, field documentation, and training materials.

Qualifications

• Field readiness and testing for R&D products (80% focus on drones/robotics).
• Installations and pilot testing in the field, identify friction points.
• Develop deployment playbooks, field docs, and training materials.
• Standardize field processes during pilot phases.
• Track deployment metrics and hardware bugs to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead field testing and operational readiness for emerging R&D products, with a focus on drones and robotics.
• Perform hands-on field installations and pilot testing to refine deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Hardware Operations to build deployment playbooks, field documentation, and training materials.
• Develop, validate, and standardize field processes during early pilots before mature deployment.
• Track deployment metrics and hardware issues to drive continuous improvements into R&D.
