Job summary

Quindar seeks a Forward Deployed Product Engineer to deploy and support software at customer sites, spanning from infrastructure to frontend. You will act as the voice of the customer, shaping product direction with live feedback and field data.

This role blends engineering rigor with real-world deployment and travel across customer environments. You’ll work across the full stack, utilize AI to accelerate shipping, and collaborate with Product & Engineering to turn prototypes into production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in customer-facing roles.
• Proven track record deploying or supporting production software in mission-critical environments.
• Proficiency in Python; experience with TypeScript/Java or similar is a plus.
• Experience with AI tools such as Cursor, Amp, ChatGPT and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google).
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes and containers; strong communication and product sense.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy software in customer environments for reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot backend APIs, cloud infra, databases, and frontend.
• Travel to customer sites and embed with operations teams.
• Prototype products and iterate with live customer data and feedback.
• Translate field insights into roadmap priorities and integrations.
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering to turn prototypes into production code.
• Develop playbooks for repeatable integrations and maintain documentation.
