Job summary

Saronic Technologies seeks a Forward Deployed Electrical Engineer to bring lab tech to the fleet. You will integrate electrical payloads, debug system‑level problems, and iterate hardware in field environments, balancing power, thermal, and signal integrity across maritime platforms.

You will work closely with Mechanical, Software, and Autonomy teams and engage with suppliers to enable rapid deployment and scalable hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years in integrated electrical/electromechanical systems, fielded or mission‑critical environments.
• Hands‑on electrical integration, power systems, cabling, PCB bring‑up.
• Rapid prototyping and system‑level debugging in field or lab.

Responsibilities

• Design systems for electrical integration on Autonomous Service Vessels and maritime platforms.
• Lead electrical rapid prototyping for field experiments and platform evolution.
• Perform system bring‑up, integration, and troubleshooting of power, network, sensor, and compute subsystems.
• Own dockside and sea trials, prepare vessels, install electrical hardware, and validate systems.
