Saronic Technologies Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Electrical Engineer to bring our autonomous maritime systems from lab to fleet. You will deploy, troubleshoot, and iterate electrical payloads in field environments and on-water, balancing power, thermal, and signal integrity while working with cross-functional teams.

This role emphasizes hands-on system bring-up, dockside testing, and collaboration with Mechanical, Software, and Autonomy engineers to deliver robust field-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; Master’s a plus.
• 3+ years of experience with integrated electrical/electromechanical systems in fielded or mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on experience with electrical integration (power, cabling, PCB bring-up).
• Experience with Linux-based systems and basic hardware test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Design electrical integration for ASVs and maritime platforms.
• Lead rapid electrical prototyping for field tests and platform evolution.
• Perform system bring-up, integration, and troubleshooting of power, networking, sensor, and compute subsystems.
• Own dockside and sea trials, install electrical hardware, and validate systems in operational environments.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, and Autonomy teams to harden designs.
• Interface with suppliers and fabrication shops for fast component turnarounds.
• Contribute to documentation and training for deployment at scale.
