Saronic Technologies is seeking a Forward Deployed Electrical Engineer to bring our autonomous maritime systems from lab to the fleet. This hands-on role involves deploying hardware, debugging field-level issues, and iterating designs in real-world environments near the water.

You will collaborate with Mechanical, Software, and Autonomy engineers to evolve and harden electrical payloads, ensure power and signal integrity, and validate systems during dockside and sea trials.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with integrated electrical/electromechanical systems.
• Hands-on expertise in electrical integration (power, cabling, PCB bring-up).
• Proficient in Linux and basic software tools (Python, shell scripting).

Responsabilidades

• Design systems for electrical integration on ASVs and maritime platforms.
• Lead rapid electrical prototyping for field experiments.
• Perform system bring-up, integration, and troubleshooting of power, networking, sensors, and compute.
• Own dockside and sea trials, installing new electrical hardware packages.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, and Autonomy teams to harden designs.
