Job summary

Owkin seeks a Forward Deployed Computational Biologist to operate at the intersection of AI, software systems, and biology. You will design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions for complex scientific problems as part of Owkin's K Pro platform.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role with time at customers' premises, translating ambiguous scientific challenges into reliable, scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (MSc/PhD).
• Proven ability to analyze complex real-world data.
• Experience with multimodal omics and clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Deploy & Custom-build: tailor K Pro for client needs and integrate into workflows.
• Solve Scientific Problems using deep clinical and multi-omics data to create computational workflows.
• Rapid Prototyping: iterate quickly with users to validate solutions.
• Collaboration: work with CS, R&D data scientists, biologists, and engineers.
• Knowledge Transfer: communicate with clinicians, biologists and engineers.
• On-call rotation participation is required.
• Frequent international travel to US/UK/France/Germany/Switzerland; base near an international airport.
