Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer, AI to partner with R&D and business teams to deploy AI-driven solutions on AWS, Azure, and Databricks. The role will shape how AI projects are scoped, built, and delivered, working hands-on with internal teams to fit their workflows.

You will design and deploy end-to-end AI workflows, establish reusable engineering patterns, and embed with data/platform teams to scale production solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Azure/Microsoft cloud services.
• Experience working with Databricks, including data engineering, notebooks, and/or ML workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python or SQL used for building data and AI applications.
• Demonstrated experience building agentic workflows and applications with generative AI and LLM-based approaches.

Responsabilités

• Partner directly with stakeholders across R&D, clinical, manufacturing, commercial, and other business functions to identify, scope, and prioritize opportunities for AI-driven internal solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI workflows and applications end-to-end from prototype through production.
• Establish foundational engineering practices, standards, and reusable patterns for AI solution delivery.
• Collaborate with Data Platform and DevOps engineers to access, model, and productionize data for AI solutions.
• Prototype proof-of-concepts, gather feedback, and move validated solutions into production.
