Job summary

Owkin is seeking a Forward Deployed Computational Biologist to design, build, and deploy production‑grade AI solutions for pharma and biotech clients as part of the K Pro platform.

This hands-on, client-facing role involves working at client premises, translating ambiguous scientific challenges into reliable computational workflows using deep clinical and multi‑omics data. Expect frequent travel and close collaboration with a cross‑functional team of scientists and engineers.

Qualifications

• Education: MSc/PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven expertise analyzing complex data including real-world clinical data and multimodal omics.
• Strong biology knowledge across therapeutic areas and biology-to-data translation.

Responsibilities

• Deploy & Custom-build Owkin’s K Pro to client needs by implementing new analytical workflows.
• Translate complex biological questions into computational workflows using multimodal data.
• Rapid prototyping with users to validate solutions and measure impact.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, R&D data scientists, biologists, and software engineers to deliver insights.
• Communicate results effectively to clinicians, biologists, and engineering teams.
