Westlake Financial is seeking a Dealer Account Manager in Asheville, NC to educate and train dealer partners, identify opportunities, and manage account development. You will travel in the local market and work in a fast-paced field environment with high earnings potential.

The role requires automotive/finance sales experience, strong communication, and knowledge of dealer financing programs. We offer comprehensive benefits and a performance-based compensation plan.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• 1-2 years’ previous experience in a Sales role with a proven track record of success
• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Presentation skills from initial creation to delivery
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology
• Goal oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement
• Able to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams
• Knowledge/Experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL (beneficial)
• Previous Outside Sales Experience (preferred)
• Significant local travel with valid state driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company products to dealers
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts assigned to you
• Follow-up on new leads and referrals from field activity
• Develop and grow dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities
• Communicate via phone and visits with dealer partners to train on programs and funding
• Assist with vehicle loan solutions for approval in a profitable manner
• Assist with sales contracts by educating dealers on verification needs
• Develop and keep up-to-date on sales materials and product knowledge
• Participate in marketing events for independent and franchise dealers
