Job summary

Aquila Technology is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in support of a premier defense research organization. The role spans space management, data collection support, fielding execution, and facilities support, requiring coordination across multiple environments and travel for field deployments.

The candidate will oversee CAREN-related operations, coordinate logistics, and interface with researchers, managers, and vendors to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience executing data collections in a lab or field setting.
• Program/Project Management or analysis.
• Experience supporting field deployments, including coordination with external parties and travel.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Experience maintaining equipment with complex hardware/software systems.
• At least five years of experience operating a CAREN System.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate CAREN and related equipment and systems.
• Ensure spaces remain compliant with safety standards and ready for daily operations.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and train staff on proper use.
• Interface with principal investigators, program managers, and vendors to support operations.
• Support experimental design and data collection procedures; ensure data is organized and ready for hand-off.
• Plan field data collections, including logistics and equipment staging; travel as needed.
• Assist with facilities changes, renovations, and space planning to meet project needs.
