EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT CENTER (EDC) is hiring Data-Collector (Casual I) to administer tablet-based assessments in kindergarten and first grade classrooms. The role is part-time and involves travel to several study sites across the U.S.

The work spans multiple academic years with flexible scheduling and in-person data collection. Responsibilities include training, reliable assessment administration, data entry within 24 hours, and collaboration with teachers and study leaders.

Qualifications

• This position requires excellent communication skills and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.
• Comfort in school settings working with elementary students to administer assessments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in study orientation and all trainings.
• Become a reliable assessment administrator.
• Travel locally/regionally to and from elementary schools within data collection sites.
• Conduct assessments with kindergarten and first grade students.
• Complete data entry and follow-up notes within 24 hours of data collection.
• Coordinate with study team leaders to follow data collection protocols.
