Job summary

NC Power Systems is seeking Data Center Technician for Wenatchee/Quincy WA area. The role is 100% field-based, diagnosing and maintaining data center generators as well as installations in EPG and Industrial engines in the field.

The position emphasizes safety, hands-on engine work, and field service across customer sites in Washington. Candidates should have a degree in Diesel Technology (preferred), 2+ years generator experience, own tools, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diesel Technology is preferred.
• 2+ years of generator experience or CAT Industrial engine.
• Must possess your own tools.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Lifting requirements of 30+ pounds.
• Above average communication skills, written & verbal.

Responsibilities

• Patience and safety is a priority.
• Diagnose, Repair and Install Industrial engines (Including OEM and EPG).
• Maintaining engines and generators at Data Centers.
• Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs.
• Order parts by using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS).
• Communicate with Engineering, customers and other team members.
• Meet administrative requirements to complete paperwork and inspections (including service reports, jobsite specific paperwork, and quality service notes).
