Job summary

NC Power Systems in Wenatchee/Quincy WA is seeking a Data Center Technician to diagnose and maintain Data Center generators and related industrial engines in the field.

This 100% field-based role requires owning the necessary tools, a valid driver's license, and strong communication to coordinate with engineering and customers. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diesel Technology preferred.
• 2+ years of generator experience or CAT Industrial engine.
• Must possess your own tools.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Lifting requirements of 30+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, Repair and Install Industrial engines (Including OEM and EPG).
• Maintain engines and generators at Data Centers.
• Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs.
• Order parts using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS).
• Communicate with Engineering, customers and other team members.
• Meet administrative requirements to complete paperwork and inspections (including service reports, jobsite specific paperwork, and quality service notes).
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a key role in our company in which our technicians are responsible for diagnosing and maintaining all Data Center generators as well as installations in EPG and Industrial engines in the field. The role is 100% in the field

• Patience and safety is a priority
• Diagnose, Repair and Install Industrial engines (Including OEM and EPG)
