Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in United States, Oregon, Umatilla seeks a Critical Infrastructure Controls Engineer, Data Center Field Engineering to support AWS data centers.

You will troubleshoot critical failures, perform root cause analyses, and develop corrective actions across multiple sites, driving capacity, availability, and efficiency improvements. The role requires hands-on experience with BMS/BAS/SCADA/PLC, programming in Python/SQL, and a background in mechanical/electrical systems for

Qualifications

• :- Experience reading and editing construction documents (design drawings, control diagrams, specifications, etc.)
• - 2+ cumulative years of controls experience with industrial, municipal, or commercial engineering including data centers, power generation, oil/gas facilities
• - Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• - Must have a valid US driver's license and reliable personal transportation by start date.

Responsibilities

• :- troubleshoot critical failures, conduct Root Cause Analyses, and develop corrective actions
• - own conceptual designs for capacity, availability, and efficiency improvements
• - lead engineering audits and provide technical escalation support for sites in operation
• - collaborate across Data Center Operations, Design Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Health & Safety, and partner Controls teams
