Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead on-site cleaning operations across Northwest Arctic Borough School District facilities. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, inspections, and floor care projects, with frequent travel to village sites.

You will train staff, ensure safety, manage schedules, and collaborate with the General Manager on corrective action plans, inventory, and project execution in remote Alaska communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year custodial experience and 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Informal leadership (leading projects or mentoring peers) will be highly considered.
• Must be able to travel to remote Alaska villages and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct custodial inspections during each school visit; assess cleanliness and floor condition.
• Provide on-site supervision and coaching to custodial staff during visits; confirm priorities.
• Submit inspection findings and follow-up to the General Manager after each visit.
• Track open deficiencies and re-inspect completed work; develop corrective action plans.
• Plan and lead floor care projects (stripping, waxing, scrubbing, carpet extraction).
• Train staff in cleaning procedures, floor care, equipment use, safety, and standards.
• Coordinate daily assignments and review timesheets as delegated.
