Job summary

1Password is seeking a Field Chief Technology Officer to guide enterprise security strategy, influence executive buyers, and scale Solutions Engineering globally. You will partner with Product, Engineering and GTM leadership to shape platform investments and create repeatable technical plays for large organizations.

You will lead high-impact opportunities, mentor senior engineers, and represent 1Password at industry events.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience influencing executive technology leaders within Fortune 500 organizations.
Deep technical expertise across identity, access management, cloud security, or AI security.
Exceptional executive communication skills translating complex tech to business outcomes.
Proven ability to influence enterprise architecture decisions across large organizations.
Experience supporting strategic enterprise sales opportunities with executive sales teams.
Familiarity with MEDDPICC and modern enterprise buying processes.

Responsibilities

Influence the successful outcome of 1Password’s strategic customer opportunities and executive relationships.
Build trusted partnerships with Product, Engineering and GTM leadership to shape platform investments.
Create repeatable technical plays, executive messaging and reference architectures for global teams.
Mentor Solutions Engineers to raise technical capabilities across the organization.
Represent 1Password externally at conferences, events and industry forums.
