Job summary

Southeasternsurveying is hiring a Crew Chief in Orlando, FL. You will lead field crews in locating underground utilities, using GPR and locating devices, while ensuring safety and data integrity for clients.

The role requires 3+ years in SUE, strong technical skills, and the ability to supervise field operations, coordinate with management, and maintain equipment. This position is full-time and on-site with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years field SUE experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of municipal construction and utility infra.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise field data collection for projects.
• Locate underground utilities using GPR and locating devices.
• Inspect subordinates' work for safety and quality compliance.
• Operate and maintain vacuum excavation equipment.
• Record underground utility data per CAD standards.
• Read maps and blueprints to locate utilities.
• Maintain field equipment and safety supplies.
• Assist in TTC setup and related safety tasks.
