Lake Superior Consulting, LLC in Houston is seeking a Cathodic Protection Technician to join our growing team. This entry-level role offers hands-on training from in-house experts and opportunities for advancement into CP and AC mitigation design, with industry certifications possible within 6 months of onboarding. The job involves 75% travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively (75% travel) for physically demanding outdoor work.
• Operate a company vehicle, ATV-UTV, and use general hand/power tools.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to learn applicable CFR 49 Part 192 & 195 and AMPP standards.

Responsabilités

• Work safely by following LSC and client guidelines and procedures.
• Prepare for planned cathodic protection projects.
• Complete and maintain operator qualifications (OQs).
• Operate and use testing equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting on cathodic protection systems.
• Gather data, and prepare records and reports in a timely manner.
• Install, maintain and repair components of a cathodic protection system.
• Ensure your work is utilized with respect to company goals.
• Work in compliance with all technical procedures and guidelines.
