KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Cost Accountant to support project operations in the Wichita, KS area.

This field-based role handles project cost accounting, procurement, and administrative tasks to keep cost records accurate and ensure contractual requirements are met. Responsibilities include tracking timekeeping and expenses, preparing cost reports, processing vendor invoices, and supporting subcontract administration.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years of admin support experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and recordkeeping abilities with accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for client, management, and field teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Prefer accounting experience in job cost tracking and invoicing.
• Familiarity with RCMS, EPA Form 1900-55, Dynamics, or similar systems.

Responsabilidades

• Enter and track crew timekeeping from sign-in sheets and timesheets.
• Track employee and project expenses, including receipts and per diem.
• Prepare daily and monthly cost reports for management review.
• Process and code vendor invoices; review accounts payable data.
• Support procurement: quotes, purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders.
• Maintain organized project files in SharePoint or similar systems.
• Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and clients; provide support.
• Follow safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
