Job summary

Corrpro Companies is seeking a Corrosion Technician/Technologist to test, evaluate and install cathodic protection systems at client sites across Texas. You will gather data, monitor construction, and work with engineers to design protection measures while coordinating field activities and reporting results.

This role requires hands-on field experience, strong customer service, and willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• AMPP CP Technician or Technologist Certification highly valued.
• 4 years cathodic protection testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience managing projects with direct client interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform testing, evaluation and installation of cathodic protection systems.
• Monitor construction activities for adherence to design specifications.
• Gather data: structure-to-soil potential, soil measurements, rectifier data.
• Complete post-installation surveys and interference testing.
• Coordinate rectifier output and sketch components on drawings.
• Provide field maintenance and minor repairs of test equipment.
