Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English literacy and basic math.
• Working toward AMPP CP Tester #1 Certification within 2 years.
• Knowledge of pipeline operations and relevant regulations.
• Ability to read maps and technical drawings.
• Strong safety record and outdoor working capability in extreme conditions.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Some travel within the U.S. may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cathodic protection surveys on pipelines, breakout tanks, and facilities in DOT compliance.
• Read rectifiers, anodes, bonds, and test points annually; quarterly readings.
• Install and maintain rectifiers, bonds, test points, and galvanic anode systems.
• Document data and provide reports to the Corrosion Supervisor.
• Maintain records of protection levels and test equipment logs.
• Conduct interface tests for cathodic protection and electrical effects.
• Follow safety policies and consult others on work activities.
• Complete other related duties as assigned; develop skills through structured work.
