Job summary

HF Sinclair Midstream, based in Casper, WY, seeks a Corrosion Prevention Technician to manage cathodic protection programs for pipelines and tanks. You will test, monitor, and maintain corrosion systems and documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal rules.

The role requires five years of related experience, high school diploma or higher, and preferred NACE certifications. Expect fieldwork with travel and participation in audits and corrosion meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years on-the-job experience required.
• On-the-job pipeline construction and/or pipeline operations experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NACE Level I certification or NACE Corrosion Technologist certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes corrosion testing equipment to evaluate pipelines, tanks, and facilities for corrosion and protection adequacy.
• Develops and implements plans to remedy deficiencies.
• Completes cathodic protection surveys.
• Maintains records per policies.
• Participates in audits and corrosion meetings.
