Job summary

Alpha Omega Construction Group in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a construction helper to assist with roofing, siding, and grounds maintenance. The role supports the Field Supervisor, participates in safety inspections, and helps coordinate project activities on site.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, up to one year of construction experience, and strong communication skills. Must be able to lift 50–85 pounds and work in varying weather conditions. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Self-starter with ability to quickly learn construction processes and techniques.
• Ability to work in both field and office settings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office technology (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Clean driving record, with no accidents or major infractions within last 3 years.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, scheduling, and tracking production of roofing/ siding installation.
• Runs errands and assists supervisors in supply pick-up and drop-off.
• Assists Warehouse with packing and loading crew material pick-ups.
• Assists with pre/post and safety inspections and documentation, including taking pictures of completed work to ensure quality craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with the Field Supervisor to learn and develop skills in construction management.
• May operate equipment such as forklifts or company trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.
