Job summary

Handling Systems & Conveyors is hiring a Conveyor Technician for its Troy, Alabama location. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems, interfacing with customers and the service team to communicate maintenance and upgrades.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with gear drives, bearings, hydraulic or elect. systems, and the ability to read electrical diagrams. The role requires the flexibility to work off shifts, weekends, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining, repairing and inspecting conveyor systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and drawings.
• Welding certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with OSHA/ANSI inspection criteria.
• Strong problem-solving and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors.
• Interface with customer and service teams to communicate repairs and upgrades.
• Inspect and evaluate repairs per OSHA/CMMA/NEC/ANSI guidelines.
• Respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot and complete jobs on time.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance to monitor crane systems.
