Job summary

Divcon is seeking a hands-on Control Technician to join our controls field team. You will perform startup, verification, documentation, and issue escalation for DDC/PLC projects across commercial settings, with regular travel and per diem/Lodging provided.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in controls installation or HVAC controls, familiarity with BACnet/Modbus, and ability to read schematics. This role offers growth in a fast‑growing data-center and critical systems marketplace.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of controls installer experience or equivalent training in HVAC/automation.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and basic controls strategies.
• Understanding of low-voltage control circuits, wiring, and safety requirements.
• Familiar with DDC/BAS or PLC platforms such as Niagara, enteliWEB, Desigo, Metasys, EcoStruxure, Studio 5000, or TIA Portal.

Responsibilities

• Start up and commission systems utilizing DDC or PLC technology.
• Verify field installation against drawings, schedules, and project documentation; flag discrepancies.
• Document work daily and log deficiencies and field mismatches in QC forms.
• Provide turnkey project delivery on site systems (VAV/FPB/FCU, AHUs) and support commissioning for data-centers.
