Job summary

Divcon Controls, headquartered in Dallas, TX, seeks a hands-on Control Technician to support DDC/BAS or PLC project work, perform installation verifications, and provide startup support. The role involves field documentation, issue escalation, and travel to customer sites to ensure turn-key system delivery.

You will verify installations against drawings and project docs, collaborate with subcontractors, and assist senior technicians.

Qualifications

Experience supporting DDC/BAS or PLC project work.
Ability to perform installation verification and point-to-point checkout.
Willingness to travel as required by projects.
Ability to verify field installation against drawings and project documentation.

Responsibilities

Start up, commission, and re-commission customer systems utilizing DDC or PLC technology.
Provide solutions to mid-level systems problems and assist others in resolving issues with subcontractors and other trades.
Verify field installation against drawings, schedules, and project documentation; flag discrepancies to supervision.
Deliver turnkey project delivery on specific site systems.
Work with unitary systems (VAV/FPB/FCU), small AHUs/CRAHs, basic CW/HW systems.
Perform verification checks per L2–L4 and support L5 and IST commissioning for datacenter projects.
