Job summary

Divcon seeks a hands-on Control Technician to support DDC/BAS or PLC project work. You will perform installation verification, point-to-point checkout, startup support, and field documentation under supervision.

Travel is regular with per diem, lodging, and travel accommodations per policy. You will work with Senior and Lead Technicians on project execution and ensure quality through daily logs and QC forms.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of controls installer experience or equivalent training
• Experience with DDC/BAS or PLC platforms
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to travel up to 95% with per diem provided

Responsibilities

• Start up, commission, and re-commission systems that use DDC or PLC technology
• Troubleshoot mid-level system problems and coordinate with trades to ensure proper operation
• Verify field installation against drawings, schedules, and project docs; flag discrepancies
• Provide turnkey project delivery on-site for specific systems
• Document work daily in QC forms and log deficiencies and drawing issues
• Maintain familiarity with plans, submittals, RFIs, and construction processes
