Job summary

Qualifications

• HVAC controls knowledge and servicing techniques.
• Vocational/associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, or related field with 1–3 years HVAC experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.
• Willingness to lead junior mechanics on non-complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Commission systems using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
• Respond to warranty calls and provide timely service.
• Load controller software and perform diagnostics from controllers to sensors/actuators.
• Calibrate systems and complete commissioning documentation.
• Document changes and support as-built updates.
• Communicate progress with customers and stakeholders; complete administrative tasks.
• Provide recommendations and quotes to improve facility efficiency.
