Qualifications

• Vocational school or associate degree in electronics/mechanical systems with relevant HVAC industry experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls systems and facilities management systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuitry related to HVAC controls.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude with hand and power tools.
• Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools and configurations.
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls and provide timely service.
• Load system-level controller software and diagnose issues from controllers to end devices.
• Calibrate systems and complete commissioning documentation.
• Document changes and update as-built documentation.
• Communicate with customers and keep management informed of progress.
• Complete time sheets and on-site documentation accurately.
• Provide recommendations and quotes to improve facility efficiency.
