Job summary

L in Rocklin, CA is seeking a Controls System Specialist to field verify operation of HVAC building automation systems. You will ensure design intent, install sequences, and customer interaction across projects.

Responsibilities include correcting design errors, working with installation electricians to fix field problems, bringing systems online, and providing support and training for customers’ unified systems. Travel/onsite work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical courses a plus.
• At least five years in industrial/commercial HVAC building automation controls programming and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with electricians to troubleshoot field problems and understand equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Windows, AutoCAD, MS Office and programming basics.
• Experience with Alerton/BlueRidge/Distech/Niagara controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field verify operation to meet design intent for installation, sequence, and customer interaction.
• Correct errors in the design process and document findings.
• Collaborate with installation electricians to fix field problems.
• Bring unified systems online and ensure operation.
• Provide support and training for customers’ unified systems.
• Assist during service calls via remote access or on-site.
