Carrier is seeking a Lead Controls Engineer to design and program advanced building automation systems tailored to each client. You will guide project teams, ensure adherence to standards, and develop interfaces while solving complex control problems.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in building automation/HVAC with Rockwell PLC and Ignition SCADA experience. This role involves field-ready work in the United States, including lifting requirements and ladder access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of building automation/HVAC experience.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA; no visa sponsorship.
• Knowledge of building automation software and controls.
• Experience designing and programming building automation systems.
• Able to translate technical information for varied audiences; good communication skills.
• Capable of climbing ladders or lift equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Design and program building automation systems and control algorithms.
• Adhere to project requirements and company standards.
• Create a clear design document for project teams.
• Document and communicate the building automation system design and revisions.
• Develop graphical and text interfaces for building automation systems.
• Test programming and interfaces prior to implantation.
• Provide technical support to sales to meet customer needs.
• Identify and communicate project opportunities and risks.
• Support functional testing for complex building systems.
