Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Controls Technician to travel to customer sites, perform electrical and controls audits, and support installation teams during commissioning and brownfield projects.

You will review control architectures, document findings, and communicate with engineering and customers to ensure alignment with project scopes and schedules. A strong background in Allen-Bradley PLC systems and fieldbus networks is required.

Qualifications

• Audits electrical and control-system architectures at customer sites.
• Assesses legacy and distributed control networks (Ethernet, ASi, CAN, Profibus).
• Evaluates controls power distribution and network configs.
• Communicates results with customers and project teams.
• Reads electrical schematics and controls documentation.

Responsibilities

• Audits: perform comprehensive electrical and control-system audits at customer sites.
• Commissioning support to installation teams on active projects and pre-commissioning.
• Interface with customers to clarify requirements and follow-up actions.
• Prepare technical audit reports and documentation.
