Job summary

M5 Services is a commercial building services contractor in Pleasanton, performing hybrid field and content work to document projects. You will assist maintenance crews and capture job progress with photos and short videos, editing clips for social media and company communications.

Ideal candidates have hands-on maintenance or field support experience, a valid California driver’s license, and the ability to switch between on-site tasks and documentation roles while maintaining privacy and safety

M5 Services is a commercial building services contractor based in Pleasanton. We maintain and repair commercial properties across the Tri-Valley, the East Bay, San Francisco, and the Peninsula.

THE WORK

This is a hybrid field and content position. You will work with our commercial maintenance and construction crews while capturing the work in a way that helps M5 recruit, sell, and show proof of what we do.

Field work may include punch-list support, jobsite protection, material handling, light maintenance, clean-up, before-and-after documentation, and helping technicians keep jobs moving.

Content work includes shooting photos and short videos, capturing progress and finished work, basic editing for Instagram, LinkedIn, the M5 website, recruiting, and project updates. Good judgment matters. We work in commercial buildings around clients and tenants, so privacy, safety, and professionalism come first.

What We're Looking For

Hands-on commercial maintenance, construction, porter tech, or field support experience. Comfortable on active commercial properties. Able to take clear photos and videos and edit simple short-form clips. Reliable, organized, and able to switch between helping on the job and documenting the job. Valid California driver's license.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Canva, CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools. Basic writing for captions. Trade experience in maintenance, doors and hardware, paint, drywall, flooring, or construction cleanup.
