Job summary

M5 Services in Pleasanton, CA, is seeking skilled technicians to service, repair, and replace doors and hardware on commercial properties across the Tri-Valley and Bay Area. You will work with a small, capable maintenance team to diagnose issues and deliver quick, reliable fixes on site.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with commercial doors, panic hardware, closers, and various locksets, and can hang and adjust doors in openings. We provide tools, uniforms, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with installing, servicing, and repairing commercial doors and hardware.
• Experience with panic hardware and closers.
• Ability to work with hollow metal frames and locksets.
• Experience with cylindrical and mortise locksets.
• Ability to hang and adjust doors in existing openings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, repair, and replace doors and hardware across commercial properties.
• Work autonomously with a maintenance team to resolve issues on site.
• Ensure compliance with safety and accessibility standards.

M5 Services is a commercial building services contractor based in Pleasanton. We maintain and repair commercial properties across the Tri-Valley, the East Bay, San Francisco, and the Peninsula: office buildings, retail, and industrial sites for property managers and national facility groups.

We're not a big-crew outfit. Our engineers and technicians work with a full maintenance team behind them, and they're trusted to solve the problem in front of them without waiting on a project manager.

THE WORK

Commercial doors and hardware: closers, panic devices, locksets, hinges, frames, thresholds, and the hollow metal and wood doors that stop working right in a busy building. Service, repair, and replacement across commercial properties.

What We're Looking For

• Commercial door and hardware experience.
• Panic hardware and closers.
• Hollow metal frame work.
• Cylindrical and mortise locksets.
• Hanging and adjusting doors in existing openings.

NICE TO HAVE

• Access control and electrified hardware.
• Automatic operators.
